Israel has now been home for 2 days. Yesterday and today Israel has been experiencing a lot of nausea as he adjusts to his medicines. He is working with the doctors to figure out what they can do to help with that. His pain was not too good today but it is manageable. He moves around real well in his wheelchair, maneuvering around tight corners, onto the couch, into bed, and even into his Honda Element! He is amazing to watch ! He is continuing to thank the Lord for being alive and is trusting Him for his continued recovery though it is slow.
He and Cori went to see their house yesterday for the first time. They were OVERWHELMED at all the generous work and supplies that men and women have donated for it’s building. They stood in awe everywhere they turned and said, ” We are so unworthy of this!” It was an incredible boost for them ! They are busy in their “spare” moments dreaming for where the lawn will go, how they will decorate, where the furniture will be placed, etc. It is very motivating for them and they feel very undeserving. A big thank you once again to all who have helped financially physically , and emotionally through letters, notes , and phone calls.
Here is a wonderful thought for today to show God’s grace for His children from the mouth of King David who understood what it meant to need God’s grace. Psalm 117 : ” O praise the Lord, all ye nations; praise Him, all ye people. For His merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord. ”
