September 25th, Tuesday Evening, 8:45 PM Another Challenging Day In Pain

Israel asks for continued prayer regarding a solution to the pain he

continues to suffer with. It seems the doctors and nurses are not able

to come to a good pain control solution.

He has been in bed all day in an attempt to keep the pain bearable .

We again want to thank each of you for your love, care, and prayers,

Through all this, it means a lot to both of us & Israel wants to give

a personal thanks to each of you.

Every day we read and are encouraged  by the many kind emails and

words of comfort people send us.

Trusting in our Heavenly Father’s hand,

Israel & Cori

  1. THANK YOU AGAIN for the update on Israel. We are praying in regards to his pain and for the medical staff to use their skills and knowledge to get the pain meds elevated above the pain.
We continue to pray for your overall needs . Your good spirit of thankfulness and resting in God’s continue working in your lives as you lean heavily on Him. When we have done all we know to do God asks us to “be still and know that I am God.”and “Casting all your care upon Him for he careth for you.” How comforting to know and experience that comfort. We claim that for you both tonight and pray for a restful sleep. When we have problems and trials it is also good to know that we can reach out to others who are in places of need. Numerous homes in the Willow area have been flooded. Today we learned of our friends in Skwetna who recently built a cabin up on five foot pilings. The Yetna and Skwetna rivers overflowed their banks to their home and they have a sea of water surrounding their house up
to a foot under their house. That is four feet of water surrounding their home. All their animals, duck, rabbits, chickens, goats ,sled dogs(16) are on the four foot deck surrounding their house. We would ask you to pray for them. Thank you. Jim and I have learned through the years when we have been sorely tried that we reach out to someone else in need is great therepy and God gives us joy in our own trial.
God bless you and wrap HIS loving arms around you tonight and that you will truly have a restful night.

    I n HIS love’

  2. Dear Israel and Cori,
You guys are inspiring …. Not because you are some kind of ‘super-heroes’. You inspire because even though you are just human and hurting you both are looking, even now, BEYOND the pain to God’s ultimate Blessings. I Believe God is with you in your battle with pain, now especially and we will soon see His love triumph over all!
My wife and I keep you in our Thoughts and Prayers daily. May God Bless, Love Arthur

  3. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers constantly!!! Wish you weren’t so far away right now…
“It is of the Lord’w mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are NEW every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
    Love you guys!!!!!!

  4. My heart goes out to both of you. When I see the beautiful smile on Israel’s face in the pictures, it humbles me and I am ashamed of my daily complaining about trivial things. It is when I apologize to God and ask for His grace for both of you. I know God is with you through every second of the day. My prayer today is that He will guide the doctors and nurses so pain relief is successful. Your journey is difficult, but I know God’s plan for you will be glorious.

  5. … we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:3-5.

We have prayed for God to spare your life, the wisdom and expertise of your doctors, healing without complications, and support from believers to sustain you in this perilous time. Our good heavenly Father is answering our prayers. Now, we will continue to pray that your pain becomes manageable, you gain strength and fortitude and your suffering promotes perseverance so that
the good character that God has created in you, Israel, will flourish.
